Guidelines for abstracts

  • The presenting author must ensure that all co-authors have read the abstract and agree to co-authorship
  • Abstracts should be written in English. Your presentation may be held in German or English.
  • Incomplete submissions cannot be considered.
  • The same topic cannot be included in multiple abstracts by the same research group.
  • If you wish to amend or withdraw an abstract, please get in touch with us (mailto:beier@biosaxony.com) as soon as possible.

 

Abstracts should include the project’s aims and possibilities for commercial implementation. The following information is mandatory:

  • Project name
  • Contact details
  • Contact partner
  • Main author, speaker (please indicate), research team
  • Research center/institution
  • Project description (no more than 2,500 characters including spaces)
  • Problem
  • Proposed solution
  • Methods
  • Technology transfer (target group, competition, partners, markets, financing)

 

To formally submit your abstract, you must complete the online registration form.

Whether abstracts are accepted will be decided solely by the Scientific Program Committee. The acceptance of an abstract entails the binding registration of the main author or speaker for the congress. Only one speaker is permitted per abstract. Additional authors are requested to sign up separately.

Please let us know in advance if you do not want to hold a pitch presentation by using the message box during registration.

All accepted abstracts will be published in the Conference Book and on the bionection website.

Authors are responsible for clarifying any third-party copyright issues regarding the content of their abstracts and must ensure that no data, illustrations, tables, etc. are subject to any third-party rights precluding publication.
